A lot of job applicants turned up on Saturday for jobs interview held at Times Square for a number of shops opening there soon. The noise from the renovation work is going all over the building was a problem for the interviewers and the job seekers.

LRT? Think Again

I couldn't agree more. With the money that ‘will' be used for the LRT, it is better use to repair and improve the bumpy road especially those in the highway. Or to be better, use it to make the road larger.

People should also consider of the disadvantages. Imagine that if the LRT was build, people would easily just go here and there especially for the teenagers who like to hangout.

Actually we don't really need an LRT here in Brunei, why? Because people here have many cars already and Brunei is a small country. So why waste?

It is amazing not many people know how much RBA is losing money since day 1 and nobody is asking why? It seems if RBA is losing billions of dollars is ok but not other initiatives like LRT. What benefits are we getting from running RBA and how much will benefits we get from running LRT, perhaps this poster DATE_FORMAT_LC2 would like to comment.

We are telling the population who are just getting by to change lifestyle to reduce watage and revoking subsidies but we don't give a darn about those A1 jet fuel users and mega projects idling and not productive and consuming high maintenance costs for unproductive mega cost buildings.

We don't care to audit money-losing mega projects, RBA, and whatever.

The poorest will be paraded to receive their subsidies or poor people allowances, their faces will be focused and captured on telivision NEWS but we don't even have the guts to show in United Nations Income Inequality List the gap of the rich and poor of Brunei Darussalam for the world to see how caring we are about wealth distribution of the country which nobody owns and all the land and seas, rivers the natural resources come form Allah SWT to be shared equally administered by the country's leaders.

Now, many people are just guessing and estimating the rich and poor gap of our country.

At one gathering some friends say " Easy mah, we just take 50 richest people enough already to calculate, 1st richest 20 billion, 2nd richest 10 billion, 3rd richest 5 billion, 4th richest 2.5 billion, 5th richest 1 billion, 6th richest 500 million, 7th richest 250 million, 8th richest 100 milion, 9th to 50th richest around 50 million each. So you go calculate how big the gap with the poorest."

We make people guess and the important figure is not available and nobody cares to analyse the statistics, we have a university but it cannot be relied on for research and developments in many fields.

I am just appalled at the respect the hostage taker has been given after he shot dead innocent hostages. How can anyone say that he is a good man when he extorts, kidnaps hostages and kill innocent people.
He is certainly no hero in my book. He is a criminal.
